Eric Donelan
Eric Donelan is an artist and illustrator living in Wheaton, Illinois—just outside Chicago. He is currently working in the areas of: Automatic Drawing, Book Illustration, Multimedia Collage and Acoustic Sculpture. His work has received accolades from the Type Director’s Club, I.D.’s Design Annual, Wired magazine, Graphis, AIGA Miami and American Illustration 11. His work has appeared in projects for: Ten Speed Press, Chronicle Books, Oracle, Autodesk, Keilhauser and the Knight Foundation Annual Report. He has taught typography at the University of Akron and Rendering at Kent State University. Eric has BFA in Graphic Design from Kent State University in Ohio. Oddly enough, he also has a distant relative who designed the incredibly famous “Mr. Peanut” mascot for Planters Peanuts decades ago.
