Emigre magazine was published between 1984 and 2005. A total of 69 issues were produced, sometimes on a quarterly basis, but more often irregularly. Issues #1 through #63 were published and distributed by Emigre, Inc. Issues #64 through #69 were co-published and distributed by Princeton Architectural Press, New York.

Emigre magazine is in the permanent design collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York, the Design Museum in London, and the Denver Art Museum.

The set shown here is the last remaining complete set of Emigre magazine that is for sale. It took us a few years to put this set together, often by buying back issues from other collectors. As a result, a small number of these issues have slight scuffs and dings, but the set is otherwise in near perfect condition with 90% of the issues in perfect shape.

We have compiled three complete sets of Emigre type specimens and other type related promotional materials. The sets, which consist of 176 printed artifacts, contain catalogs, specimens, posters, brochures, postcards, pamphlets and other printed ephemera published by Emigre between 1984 and 2007. Similar sets were recently installed in the permanent design collections of the Denver Art Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
